   Teaching Database Theory is a complete teacher's guide to teaching the theory of databases for advanced level Computing. It covers the theory of data modelling, entity-relationship diagramming, the relational model, normalisation, physical database design and the use of data definition and data manipulation languages. The booklet is full of questions that can be used to test student's understanding of theory. Solutions are provided for all the questions. The booklet covers a practical design exercise to illustrate the process of moving from a statement of data requirements to an actual database solution in Access. The booklet has been written by an experienced examiner of A-Level Computing

The booklet is only available in electronic form for printing by a centre for paper-based distribution to students/staff. It may be placed on a school/college network.
